Introduction to the Listing Agent Role

———What is a Listing Agent???————-

Real Estate Listing Agent is a Real Estate Professional who Aquire New Properties For the Real Estate, He Finds New To Market Properties Owners and Maintains a Relationship with them (Seller & Landlord) to sell or rent their property.

Their main responsibility is to secure listings and manage the entire process of marketing and closing the deal on behalf of the Owner.

Action and Key Responsibilities of a Listing Agent:

1. Learn About the Area

  • Gather and Learn all the Names of the Communities and sub communities

  • Learn About the types of Properties in the Area

  • Learn about the specific Features about the Area

2. Acquire Property Listings

  • Find property owners who want to sell or rent their property

  • Do Homework before reaching a seller/Landlord

  • Sign listing agreements with owners

3. Property Evaluation

  • Conduct market analysis (CMA)

  • Learn the transaction history

  • Learn other Valuation Techniques

4. Negotiation

  • Negotiate price and terms between owner and buyer/tenant

  • Present offers to the property owner

  • Help finalize the best deal

5. Owner Relationship Management

  • Keep the owner updated on:

    • market feedback

    • viewing reports

    • price strategy

  • Maintain long-term relationship for future listings

  • Update All Details in CRM
